Um...I only talk a lot when I have too. But I love to write stuff.

I'm a farm girl, which makes it ironic that I don't like country music. I don't like the big city and I could probably live contently in a cabin far out in the woods without electricity or running water, except that I never like being totally alone. I don't like shopping, people who get mad at me for having my own opinions, or the color pink. I love getting close to nature in my everyday life, whether its messing around in the dirt, or just laying out on a grassy hill staring at the sky.

I also love cooking, and expanding my cooking genres...I recently phased red meat a little bit back into my diet, after having spent an extended time not eating beef or pork. Time with a more vegetable based diet helped me expand my cooking base a bit, which was nice. I bake too...ah scratch cinnamon rolls.

I'm easy to get along with unless you have a knack for getting on my bad side.

I work at Denny's, but don't like it and hope to leave as soon as I find something better. Even though I already graduated with a BA, my degree isn't totally useful until I advance to a MA.

In the last year I started working for something called the AMS on campus, and it's pretty awesome- I spend my shifts infront of gigantic control boards pushing lots of buttons, or behind a camera working my magic. On the side I also work for BSports, as a board engineer and camera person. We film and broadcast various sports across Washington.

I keep in touch with my parents and my sisters and brothers, no matter how far away they are, and I always will. I'm also an aunt, and I love it too! I have four nephews and two nieces.

After I get my MA in Rhetoric and Composition or Literary Theory, I have big aspirations, and though I don't have my heart set as high, it's a good way to go. I hope to spend some time in the peace corps, or at least teaching in innercity schools. After that, who knows, as one point I've thought writing and interpretation for the UN would be an awesome career. No matter what I end up doing I eventually wanna find the right guy and settle down before I'm too old.

On a smaller scale I have dreams just to teach part time and own my own little restaurant, maybe a 35 seater, with a small diverse menu of things I've created and/or mastered like my stuffed portabellas, or fantastic tomato soup.

Writing, and teaching. I dont like to do dishes but I do them well. I like cooking, and I also do that well. I'm good at thinking things out. I'm good at helping people through problems, and neglecting my own. I can hide feelings well, and I have more logic than most. I think peanut butter is a gift from God (loosely, since I still haven't figured out whether God exists), and strawberries are the best thing to have at a picnic.

My two major downfalls: As musical as I am, I can't whistle, and as much as I love candles I can never get a lighter(the regular Bic kind) to work for me. Hurts my fingers. I'm a matchstick girl.

Maybe people notice my friends before they notice me, or physically- most people who have seen me before will note I just chopped almost two feet off my hair...and my eyes that change color?

As a friend added as an edit "At least one person has picked up on my creative and artistic side as a first impression. Also, it's not hard to notice I'm just plain awesome."

A) Book: Einsteins Dreams by Alan Lightman, Inferno by Dante, Harry Potter, Most Anne Rice and Mary Higgins Clark- A stranger is Watching, A Cry in the Night,etc.

B) Movie: Oh, I know this one! My favorite is "Whale Rider", then RENT, Moulin Rouge! and A Stranger is Watching, but I like stuff like Star Trek, Chronicles of Riddick, Garfield, Labyrinth and so on. Oh, and Vincent Price is awesome. More recently I liked I am Legend (a remake of The Last Man on Earth, and the original book), 300, Star Gate- The Arc of Truth. I'm also big on zombie movies because they are the only movies that can scare me. I'm also big on comedy and animated movies (which usually go hand in hand) like Shaun of the Dead, What About Bob, Office Space, Ice Age, etc.

Even though I didn't have cable until recently (I had it years ago) I like TV shows...mostly on DVD (since there isn't another way really...)- Xfiles, Firefly, Buffy, Mork and Mindy, Dharma and Greg, Scrubs, House, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Bewitched, Land of the Lost, Weeds, and a bunch of shows from the early/mid 1990's. Cable though, keeps me entertained.

C) Music: All kinds except half of the country music out there, and most of the rap. My single most favorite band is Seal...I just love their stuff, even though I'm not big n too many love songs- they talk about bigger issues in smaller terms...orI just love 'im. My favorite bands include Soul Coughing, James Blunt, ZZTop,Steppenwolf, Five for Fighting and Aerosmith, plus a bunch more, including of course the Cougar Marching Band, all 260 of them.

D) Food: Depends on who cooks it, but I like the simple stuff. Not really fond of a majority of greek- or at least what I've had...it might have been the preparer, but he owns a restaurant...so it may not have been, or most pasta. I like homemade pizza, and mexican food. My family is big on food and the cooking of it, so I'm fairly easy to please. Particular favorites include mushrooms, chicken, swiss cheese, strawberries, mashed potatos and gravy, cookie dough ice cream, and on occasion chocolate.

E) Men: Guys who are romantic, but not overly so, guys who care about something besides themselves, intelligence, and extroverted tendencies. I favor guys who have strong wills and opinions, but who won't belittle my own, and those who will appreciate my life goals, and life style, though there may be disagreements in those areas.

1) notebook/Pen- I always need something to put my thoughts into, somewhere I can write and digest at a later time. It's kind of like a to-go box, totally recyclable, and full of unending timeless moments that have been captured.

2) books and outside mind enthralling entertainment- I almost always have to have something going on, either a movie or TV show going on in the background, or just NPR on the radio. It's not to say that I can't stand the quiet calm, I in fact enjoy taking time to myself to meditate and clear my mind every once in a while...but in a hypertechnological world, what do you expect? On a more off-topic note- I didn't have TV or radio available to me virtually until I was eight....and I didn't have a computer at home until I was in my senior year of high school.

3) friends- my friends are the ones I have around as a support system when times get rough, they go out with me on friday nights, and feed my cat when I'm on vacation.

4) my family- kind of like my friends, my family is unendingly supportive and awesome. I have a lot of nephews and nieces I adore, and immediate family that I love.

5) music- Kind of like television, but better. I was wonderously happy when I got my first MP3 player last year- I have my own soundtrack when I'm at the AMS, or on the bus, etc. I also use music as inspiration, or as a way to change my mood, and my feelings if I ever have a down day. There's nothing better than a good rock.

6) my kitten, George- he's such a sweetie. That's all I have to say.

Life, and stuff thats gone wrong or right, and what I need to do, or wish would happen in the future. I also spend time worrying about money, or the lack thereof. And maybe, what in the world I'll do when I graduate with my final degree- work, volunteer, or what I should work doing.

Watching movies with my friends, just hanging out somewhere in town with friends, working for the soul-sucker-Denny's bartending. I don't go out drinking very much, but I don't mind going to Rico's or something to chill on friday with a spiked coffee.

Though I don't like it when video games take over a persons life, I have begun to play them a little, and enjoy them when I'm in the mood. Though by far I spend very little time each month playing, it's pretty cool....but, I can't imagine why anyone would be able to play them for hours and hours every day.

Also, I secretly dream of the perfect romance- A guy who sings to me a song like in the movies, while we're on a picnic during a sunny day, with the breeze blowing slightly, and my kitten playing with ducks in a nearby pond. Sappy I know, but It's a dream isn't it?
