Let me be blunt.. ** GO AWAY GUYS, I AM LOOKING FOR THE FAIRER SEX!** Ahem, I guess we can start with the nitty gritty of it all. I'm a Mom and a Wife. I am in love with my little family. But I'm a little lonely. When I had my Son, most of my friends became 'too busy' to fool with me. And honestly, it's hard to make new friends at my age. I am also a little interested in other women, and it's completely ok by my Husband (He would not be involved). I've never been with a woman, but I would be very open to a sexual relationship with another female who also wants to be close friends. Oh, and I am OVERWEIGHT. I just had a baby in the last two years. If that turns some people off, you might want to look elsewhere.

I'm not a religious person, but I am a very Spiritual one. I am part Native American and follow the spiritual traditions of my ancestors through the messages of Animals, Plants, and all the Elements of earth. I believe we are all one with the Great Spirit in this great circle that we walk in life and that we must respect all things. I am also of Irish decent and am influenced by the Gaelic culture. However: I am not of the hippie/granola/fluffy bunny persuasion. I am, if anything, pretty (chaotic) neutral. I am an omnivore, but have absolutely no problem with vegetarians or vegans.

I am currently self employed and doing misc. Accounting, Invoicing, and Office Management for several clients. Ultimately, I would like to paint full time and possibly teach children out of my home in the future. I love to make things, especially if they are useful. I also like to make things that are just pretty to look at.

I went to college for 2 years on a Fine Arts degree, but became disenfranchised when the teachers started deconstructing my painting style. I found that most schools just try to make artists conform to whatever is 'in' at the time and not further their skills at their own chosen style.

I paint with watercolors and mixed media. I also am an avid cook and gardener. I enjoy sewing and quilting as well. I was a creative writing minor in college as well.

I'm also in the SCA and like to make garb, lots of garb...

My eyes. Most people who meet me for the first time comment on them. I really don't see what the issue is. They look normal to me! Maybe it's ME that they are seeing in my eyes. I am a very up front person.

Books: I love Dean Koontz, especially his latest works. Guilty pleasure reading is anything by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Been a fan since I was in middle school. Harry Potter tickles my fancy as well. I hate answering the book questions because I seem so little read. I'm not that bad, I just choose easy reading for my leisure. Honestly, If I have the spare time, I'd rather be painting.

Movies: Too many to name. My favorite films in my collection are my Myazaki collection. Anything by Takeshi Kitano. LOTR, The Big Lebowski or anything by the Coen Bros., The Piano, Historical Dramas Galore, all of those I can watch over and over again.

Music: Widespread Panic, Tori Amos, Iron Maiden, The Beatles, (older) Nightwish, The Gathering, Bob Marley, Danzig, Matthew Sweet, Smashing Pumpkins/Zwan, System of a Down, Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Ralph Stanley, Tons and tons of varied music of several genres. Bluegrass, Metal, Jazz, Blues, Soft Rock, Classical...

Food: I'm a Foodie. I love fine dining. But I like good ol' fashioned comfort food too. Sushi is a passion. As is traditional Japanese cuisine.
