I love laughing and making people laugh. I haven't found my passion yet, but I'm hoping that figuring it out is half the fun. So I love life, even without knowing exactly where I'm going after school. I love music, movies, hanging out with friends, learning, hiking, backpacking, biking, stand-up comedy (who are your favorites?), playing guitar and writing songs (though I'm pretty new to both, since I'm teaching myself), and writing. Apparently, I'm good at run-on sentences, too. I was born and raised in Denver, CO, and while I'm considering moving away for Americorps or grad school, CO is where I'm gonna end up.

Right now, I'm going to school, volunteering a lot, and hanging out with a great group of friends that you should get to know because they're awesome.

As for what I'm doing with my future: it changes every week. I'm planning to do Americorps after I graduate in May. Then I want to work doing college (or other) administrative work before I apply to master's programs in college administration. Of course, all of that could change tomorrow, so feel free to ask me if I've changed my mind yet! To prove how much it can change, a few months ago, I wanted to be a stand-up comedienne! I don't care if I follow the plan, but I like having one.

I'm a laugher and a joker, and I like to think I'm damn good at that. I like listening and I can keep up my end of a conversation. I write, speak well, keep up with politics and old friends, and I'm social and open-minded. I don't bullshit and I get stuff done. I keep commitments and convictions. I like debating about anything--whether I have an opinion or not--and I can be pretty competitive. I like trying new things, even when I'm a bit skeptical at first. Oh, and I'm bummed that I got the little "less romantic" icon, because I'm damn good at romancing!

The future: my future, my family's future, my friend's future, the country's future, and the world's future. And when it comes to the future, I'm always trying to find the balance between realism and optimism.
