Hi! I'm a Canadian originally, I've lived in LA for almost 4 years now with a 2 year stint in New York prior to that.

I'm outgoing when I'm with the right person/people - love to laugh - and love talking about movies and music. People would describe me as dedicated, loyal, caring, and a bit of a work-a-holic. I have learned the beauty of going with the flow in life, being open to opportunities as they come and having the guts to embrace them. I wouldn't be in LA without having taking some big risks.

Having a sense of family is important to me, my friends and also coworkers have become that for me. I'm also very close with my brother, sister-in-law, and 2 year old nephew who live in Pasadena.

I'd like to think I'm pretty relaxed about life and people. I don't throw fits or start arguments. I don't believe in wasting my energy on the petty. I'm not afraid of food but have learned to appreciate exercise and eating healthier and more organically as much as I can. I'm more vegetarian than not, but I like a good burger as long as its quality, no fast food for me. Bring on some Father's Office! I've got curves and I'm proud of them, I'm not looking to be a skeleton while I'm still alive.

What am I looking for? Someone strong and self assured who isn't afraid to be with the same in a woman, but also won't let me run the show or lean on my strength. Someone romantic but not necessarily traditionally so. If you order me a Flying Pizza from NY, I'll take that over flowers any day. Someone who understands and doesn't resent that I'm focused on a career and work long hours with sometimes seemingly demanding tasks, but gives me a reason to take a break and stop and smell the roses. Most of all someone who makes me laugh till I can't breathe. When asked what makes a marriage last, Joanne Woodward said about Paul Newman "Sexiness wears thin after a while and beauty fades, but to be married to a man who makes you laugh every day, ah, now that's a real treat."

recovering gracefully - if I drop something I somehow catch it before it falls. Like myself when I tripped down the subway stairs in NYC but didn't fall and crack my head open to the surprise of those gasping around me.
